The conversation focused on the longstanding bilateral relations between Egypt and Venezuela, marking 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussion also included consultations on pressing regional issues, with a particular emphasis on the developments in Gaza. The ministers exchanged views on the situation, highlighting their countries' shared interests in promoting stability in the region.
Furthermore, Minister Abdel Atty expressed his appreciation for Venezuela's decision to honor Egypt by selecting it as the Guest of Honor for the Caracas International Book Fair 2025. This gesture was seen as a testament to the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between the two nations.
