Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held a telephone conversation on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, with his Yemeni counterpart Shaya Mohsin Al-Zindani to discuss the latest developments in Yemen. The talks were part of ongoing coordination and consultations between the two countries on regional developments.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's support for Yemen's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He expressed Egypt's continued backing for Yemen's national institutions and its internationally recognised government, in line with relevant international resolutions. Abdelatty emphasized Egypt's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at restoring security and stability in Yemen, fulfilling the aspirations of the Yemeni people.
