Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty has reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to supporting Lebanon's sovereignty, security, and stability, expressing the country's readiness to assist Lebanon in strengthening its capacity to face ongoing challenges. This affirmation was made during a phone conversation with Maronite Patriarch B©chara Boutros Ra, marking the conclusion of Abdelatty's visit to Beirut.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the phone call emphasized the significance of reinforcing the historical connections between Egyptian and Lebanese religious institutions. Abdelatty acknowledged the Maronite patriarch's contributions to fostering coexistence, civil peace, and national unity within Lebanon.
