According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions focused on the escalating tensions in Iran and strategies to support efforts to de-escalate and contain the rising tensions in the region. These efforts are part of Egypt's ongoing monitoring of the military escalation and its serious impact on regional stability and international peace. The talks emphasized the importance of diplomatic and political solutions to avoid further conflicts, stressing that military options would only cause devastating consequences for the people and nations involved.

The consultations also highlighted the need for increased regional and international coordination to maintain stability, protect international shipping security, and safeguard the interests of all nations.
