Antalya: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty discussed the latest regional developments Saturday, 18/4/2026, with President of the International Crisis Group (ICG) Comfort Ero. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

According to State Information Service Egypt, both sides exchanged views on the complex challenges facing the region and on Egypt’s efforts to de-escalate tensions and support security and stability. The discussions highlighted Egypt’s significant role in addressing ongoing regional issues.

For her part, the president of the ICG expressed her appreciation for Egypt’s pivotal role in addressing regional crises and affirmed her keenness to continue coordination and consultation with Egypt in the coming period to help restore stability in the region.
