Madrid: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Badr Abdelatty held a series of side meetings on Sunday, May 25, 2025, on the sidelines of the expanded ministerial meeting of the Madrid Group on the Palestinian issue, held in the Spanish capital, Madrid.According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty engaged in discussions with Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Egypt and Slovenia in various sectors.Further discussions were held with Mauro Vieira, the Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs. The focus of this meeting was the development of economic and diplomatic ties between Egypt and Brazil, with particular emphasis on trade and investment opportunities.Abdelatty also met with Hamish Falconer, British Under-Secretary of State for Middle East and North Africa. The discussion centered around regional security and the ongoing effort s to support peace initiatives in the Middle East.These meetings underscore Egypt's active role in international diplomacy and its commitment to fostering stronger relations with countries around the world.
