Beirut: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Tuesday headed to Beirut in a visit aimed at confirming Egypt's unwavering support for Lebanon and the Lebanese state's efforts meant to promote stability and development. During the visit, Abdelatty is scheduled to hold several meetings with senior Lebanese officials to discuss ways to foster bilateral cooperation, consult on developments in Lebanon and the region, and emphasize commitment to preserving Lebanon's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the meetings are also set to discuss supporting Lebanon's efforts to overcome current challenges in a way that preserves its security and stability and fulfills the aspirations of its people.
