Cairo: The Ministry of Finance announced issuing treasury bills worth a total of EGP 75 billion.

According to State Information Service Egypt, a statement posted on the ministry's website revealed that the average yield on 91-day T-bills reached 24.17 percent, with a range from a high of 24.27 percent to a low of 23.38 percent.

The average yield on 273-day T-bills was reported at 23.68 percent, with the yields varying from a high of 23.70 percent to a low of 23.49 percent. The ministry stated that it offered T-bills with maturities of 91 days and 273 days, valued at EGP 25 billion and EGP 50 billion, respectively.
