Finance Minister Urges South Korean Firms to Boost Investments in Egypt

Cairo: Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk has urged South Korean companies to enhance and diversify their investments in Egyptian markets, tapping into the promising economic opportunities available. This call was made during a meeting with South Korean Ambassador Kim Yonghyon in Cairo, marking the conclusion of the ambassador's diplomatic mission.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Minister Kouchouk commended Ambassador Kim for his efforts in strengthening economic ties between Egypt and South Korea. The minister highlighted the improving state of Egypt's economy, attributing it to a robust partnership with the private sector. He noted that the business environment in Egypt has become more competitive, thanks to government policies aimed at incentivizing and facilitating investment.

Ambassador Kim, in his remarks, acknowledged the positive economic developments in Egypt. He noted that these developments are encouraging greater involvement from the private sector in the country's economy.
