Matrouh: Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk affirmed that the 2027/2028 budget will focus on developing local resources, noting that the ministry's role is to strengthen government partnerships with the private sector to increase state revenues.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Kouchouk, speaking during a field visit to the financial directorate in Matrouh, attended by Governor Mohamed el Zamlout and Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Ahmed ek Wakil, said taxpayers and citizens should feel how far the services provided to them have improved. He noted that the ministry's mission is to build trust with the business community and investors to ensure the success of the financial system.

Kouchouk called on all employees of the tax, customs, and real estate tax authorities to facilitate and simplify procedures for service recipients, contributing to an improved experience for citizens and taxpayers while supporting the investment climate.

The Minister had also visited Matrouh Chamber of Commerce, where he reviewed the workflow and services provided to taxpayers. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting and stimulating economic activity by all means, in a way that helps strengthen trust between the Ministry of Finance and its agencies and the business community.
