FEDIS and Holool Collaborate to Launch Tour4Cure Medical Tourism Platform in Egypt

Cairo: The Ministry of Health and Population has announced the launch of Tour4Cure, a digital medical tourism platform developed in partnership with Fixed Egypt for Digital Solutions and Information Security (FEDIS) and Holool. This initiative is part of efforts to position Egypt as a regional hub for healthcare and wellness tourism.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the platform enables patients from abroad to manage their entire treatment journey through a single digital platform-from registration and selecting a healthcare provider to travel arrangements, treatment, accommodation, and post-care follow-up. This comprehensive service aims to streamline the patient experience for international visitors seeking medical treatment in Egypt.

Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar highlighted that the platform has already processed around 250 cases during its pilot phase, achieving a patient satisfaction rate exceeding 90%. The ministry has plans to expand the service across African, Gulf, and European markets, thereby widening its reach and impact.

Mohamed Afifi, General Manager of FEDIS, stated that the company developed the platform's digital infrastructure. The integration of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity technologies ensures secure digital services, improves operational efficiency, and enhances the patient experience, making the platform a robust solution for medical tourists.

Salah Hatata, Chairman of Holool, emphasized that the platform covers healthcare providers across Egypt's governorates. This allows medical facilities to join digitally, supporting Egypt's ambition to become a regional and global destination for medical tourism. The nationwide network aims to attract a larger number of international patients, thereby boosting the country's medical tourism sector.
