ETA Launches Digital Campaign to Attract 1 Million Arab Tourists by Mid-2026

Cairo: The Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) has announced the launch of a digital campaign in collaboration with the global travel platform WEGO. The initiative aims to attract at least one million Arab travelers to Egypt's tourist destinations by mid-2026.According to State Information Service Egypt, the campaign is part of Egypt's intensified efforts to boost Arab tourism, with a target of generating more than 500,000 tourism bookings during the same period. The campaign encompasses an integrated media plan, featuring video ads on YouTube, promotional content in both Arabic and English languages, Google search ads, and smart out-of-home advertising in cinemas and shopping malls across Arab countries.Suzan Mostafa, the Director General of ETA, stated that the campaign strategically targets peak seasons such as holidays and public celebrations to ensure maximum exposure. The initiative aims to highlight Egypt as a destination offering Arab tourists a blend of culture, entertainment, shopping, and luxury, making it an ideal choice for Arab families.
