El-Sisi Holds Strategic Meeting on Governance Framework for State Appointments

Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with key government and military officials to discuss the governance framework for new appointments within the state. Attendees included Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority Major General Amr Adel Hosni, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration Eng. Hatem Nabil, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Major General Mohamed Salah El-Torky, and Executive Director of the National Training Academy and Qualifying Youth Dr. Solafa El-Goueili.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that President El-Sisi reviewed the executive status of the governance framework for new appointments, promotions, and leadership positions. This review is part of ongoing efforts to reform administrative practices and develop human capital to enhance Egypt's regional and international standing.

The meeting highlighted the integrated process required for developing the state's administrative apparatus, focusing on human resources, infrastructure modernization, and the reorganization of structural and administrative relationships based on the functions and specializations of various entities.

Progress in institutional development projects was also reviewed, including the expansion of electronic assessment tools and the enhancement of work and training mechanisms. The discussion addressed human capital investment and the selection of qualified personnel to improve public service quality, in coordination with relevant authorities.

President El-Sisi emphasized the continued development of the state's administrative apparatus to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. He highlighted the need for resource optimization and governance enhancement, applying standards of competence, merit, and transparency across all state administrative procedures.
