Dabaa: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced that the integrated New Delta agricultural development project was realized through the concerted efforts of Egyptians and the coordinated work of state institutions.
According to State Information Service Egypt, President El-Sisi made these remarks during the inauguration of the project in Dabaa. He emphasized the significance of the New Delta project and urged Bahaa el Ghannam, the executive director of the Future of Egypt Sustainable Development Agency, to provide a comprehensive explanation of the project's details to both the Egyptian public and potential investors.
El-Sisi highlighted the presence of media figures and investors at the event, underscoring the need for transparency and clarity in communicating the development stages of the New Delta project. He stressed the importance of showcasing the achievements so that Egyptians could fully appreciate the scale and impact of the project.
The president noted that significant investments, amounting to billions of pounds, had been made by the ministries of irrigation, electricity, and agriculture to develop this expansive area. He pointed out the implementation of essential infrastructure, including water routes, electricity networks, and roads, as key components of the project. El-Sisi expressed his hope that such detailed information would instill a sense of pride among Egyptians for their country and their collective accomplishments.
