The leaders will participate via video conference in the installation of the reactor pressure vessel for the plant's first nuclear unit, a significant step towards the plant's completion. The event will also include the signing of a nuclear fuel procurement order.

According to State Information Service Egypt, this event is timed to coincide with Egypt's fifth annual Nuclear Energy Day, celebrated every November 19th. This day marks the anniversary of the governmental agreement between Egypt and Russia for the construction and operation of the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant, symbolizing the launch of Egypt's peaceful nuclear energy program.
