Cairo: Egypt’s Olympic basketball team secured its second victory over the US team in the second round of the Global Youth Challenge (GYC) 2025 tournament, currently being held in China from June 7 to 17, across the provinces of Jianwei and Zhejiang.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Egyptian team had already won the first round, held in Jianwei Province, after defeating China, the US, and Germany, showcasing a strong performance throughout.

In their latest match, Egypt defeated the US team 83-68. A day earlier, they overcame China with a 68-64 win, continuing their impressive showing in the tournament.
