Astana: Egypt's Ambassador to Kazakhstan Sameh Farouk Shehata presented his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during an official ceremony held in the capital, Astana. Ambassador Shehata conveyed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's greetings to the Kazakh president, stressing Egypt's commitment to advancing bilateral relations between the two nations and building on the positive development seen in various fields.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his appreciation for the existing relations between Egypt and Kazakhstan. He affirmed his country's interest in further developing bilateral cooperation in numerous areas and praised the positive progress in relations between the two nations in recent years.

The Egyptian ambassador emphasized the strength of Egyptian-Kazakh relations and the historical and cultural ties that bind the two countries. He also highlighted their established institutional frameworks for cooperation.

Ambassador Shehata underscored the shared interest of both nations in strengthening and developing bilateral relations to serve the common interests of their peoples. This includes areas such as politics, economics, trade, investment, tourism, and culture.
