Tirana:Egypt's Ambassador to Albania, Hassan Shawky, emphasized Egypt's commitment to safeguarding the interests of its citizens living abroad and ensuring the provision of necessary support and consular services.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Shawky made these remarks during a meeting with representatives of the Egyptian community in Albania, where they discussed their living conditions, needs, and concerns.

The meeting was part of the Egyptian Embassy's ongoing efforts to maintain regular contact with Egyptians residing in Albania and address the issues affecting them. During the meeting, the ambassador reviewed several government initiatives such as "Your Home in Egypt," "Your Insurance in Egypt," "Your Treatment in Egypt," and "Speak Arabic," which are designed to support Egyptians abroad.

Ambassador Shawky encouraged the community members to learn about these initiatives and utilize the available services. He assured that the embassy would continue to monitor the community's needs and provide consular assistance.

Additionally, Shawky praised the contributions of the Egyptian community to Albanian society and their role in strengthening relations between Egypt and Albania. He also urged Egyptians living in Albania to adhere to local laws and regulations.
