Cairo:The Egyptian Red Crescent has announced the dispatch of the 284th 'Zad Al-Ezza: From Egypt to Gaza' aid convoy, which is transporting more than 2,794 tons of humanitarian supplies to Palestinians in Gaza.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the aid includes over 1,314 tons of food baskets and flour, more than 387 tons of relief supplies, and over 1,035 tons of fuel necessary for the operation of hospitals and vital facilities in the Gaza Strip.
