London:The Egyptian pavilion at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026 has been honored with two prestigious awards Best Stand Design and Best Stand Activation. The awards were given in recognition of the pavilion's innovative design and its outstanding interactive experience, which showcases the richness and diversity of Egypt's tourism and archaeological attractions.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the pavilion offers visitors an immersive journey through Egypt's identity, skillfully combining its ancient civilization with its cultural and tourism diversity. Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy received the awards at the Egyptian pavilion from Conan Jal, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at WTM London. The ceremony was attended by Pete Kumposcht, WTM London's Chief Sales Officer, and Jonathan Hull, the event's Sales Director.
Minister Fathy expressed his pleasure at the recognition, noting that the awards reflect the success of efforts to present Egypt as a tourism destination through an innovative and contemporary approach. He emphasized that the pavilion highlights Egypt's exceptional diversity of tourism attractions, products, and experiences, aligning with the country's promotional slogan, "Unmatched Diversity." This interactive experience allows visitors to explore the wide range of tourism offerings available across the country.

This status strengthens Egypt's presence on the international tourism stage and underscores its position as a global destination that combines ancient civilization, unique natural attractions, and modern tourism experiences catering to a wide array of visitor interests and preferences.
Fathy extended his appreciation to the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board and all those involved in designing and implementing the pavilion. He commended their efforts in presenting Egypt in a manner that reflects its distinguished tourism status, rich heritage, and unique attractions. The pavilion's modern and innovative architectural design, inspired by the concept of "Unmatched Diversity," takes visitors on an interactive journey through three main stations.
