Jeddah: The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, received a telephone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty. During the conversation, the Egyptian Foreign Minister extended his congratulations to Mr. Ahmed on his recent election as Secretary General, expressing his best wishes for success in his new role.According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed conveyed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Egypt for its ongoing support of the organization.
