New York:Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty emphasized the importance of resuming dialogue and diplomatic negotiations between the United States and Iran to address the current crisis affecting regional interests. He highlighted this approach as the sole means to stop the escalation and avert further harm.According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty shared these remarks during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at the UN General Assembly's 81st session. The meeting reviewed the latest regional developments and explored ongoing proposals to ease tensions.Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nader Zaki stated that the discussions also focused on the necessity for all nations to safeguard international navigation, crucial for mitigating the crisis's impact on the global economy.
