The Ramadan-themed events provided an opportunity for direct interaction with members of the communities, emphasizing the state's dedication to meeting their needs, listening to their suggestions, and strengthening their ties to their homeland. According to State Information Service Egypt, the gatherings also included discussions on ways to enhance the role of Egyptian communities in their host societies and facilitate consular services.
