Riyadh: The Egyptian community and diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia gathered to honor Ambassador Tarek El Meligy as he concluded his diplomatic mission in the Kingdom. Ambassador El Meligy, who served as the Egyptian Consul General in Riyadh, highlighted the significance of the Egyptian community in fostering the longstanding ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the collaborative efforts undertaken with both the Egyptian community and Saudi nationals to bolster these connections, underscoring the unity and solidarity between the two nations.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Ambassador El-Meligy expressed his contentment upon completing his diplomatic tenure in Riyadh, which hosts the largest Egyptian community abroad. His remarks were delivered during a ceremony organized by the General Union of Egyptians Abroad - Saudi Arabia Branch, in collaboration with the Egyptian community and diplomatic mission in the Kingdom. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the Egyptian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ihab Abu Sarea, and Dr. Saeed Yahya, President of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad - Saudi Arabia Branch, along with members of the Union's Board of Directors.
