Egyptian Committee Intensifies Humanitarian Aid in Northern Gaza

Gaza:The Egyptian Committee in the Gaza Strip is intensifying its humanitarian efforts in northern Gaza, a region severely affected by conflict and deemed a disaster zone. Mohamed Mansour, the official spokesperson for the committee, confirmed the ongoing provision of essential services despite significant security challenges.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Mansour highlighted that committee teams are working tirelessly to deliver aid in northern Gaza. Their efforts include distributing bread, replacing tents, clearing debris, and preparing land for new camp construction. The focus is on assisting marginalized residents who face considerable difficulties in accessing basic services.

Mansour emphasized the urgent need for humanitarian supplies such as tents, blankets, winter clothing, and medical supplies. He noted the challenges posed by the destroyed infrastructure, which complicates access to the region. Despite these obstacles, equipment from the Egyptian Committee reached the northernmost areas, including Al-Tawbah, although hazardous conditions have hindered further advancement.

Efforts are underway to clear rubble and reopen roads, aiming to resume normalcy and enable the transport of water tankers to affected areas. The Egyptian Committee remains committed to supporting Palestinians and addressing the needs of families throughout the Gaza Strip.

Mansour urged for the swift delivery of necessary supplies and called on international and humanitarian organizations to urgently assist in alleviating the plight of Gaza's residents, particularly the children and families enduring the ongoing crisis.
