Gaza:The Egyptian Committee in the Gaza Strip is actively working to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people, according to Mohamed Mansour, the committee's spokesman.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Mansour emphasized that the committee's efforts extend beyond relief and humanitarian services, playing a significant role in resuming education in the region. This commitment has brought 36,000 students back to school after a three-year interruption due to Israeli aggression. The Egyptian state has shown strong support by establishing schools, providing educational supplies, meals, and psychological care for students, as well as involving tens of thousands of volunteers in ongoing humanitarian efforts.
Mansour highlighted that these initiatives have brought joy to children and their families amid the challenging humanitarian conditions in Gaza. The restoration of the educational process, under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, involved establishing and equipping schools and welcoming students back.
Furthermore, Mansour detailed the committee's efforts to provide decent living conditions for Gaza's residents. This includes setting up 18 organized camps for over 10,000 displaced families affected by Israeli bombardment. These actions are part of preparations for the winter season, aiming to protect families from harsh weather conditions. Despite these efforts, Mansour noted that humanitarian needs in Gaza remain significant, requiring continued support and assistance.
