Cairo: EgyptAir will operate direct flights from Jeddah and Medina to Alamein International Airport from Aug. 13 to Sept. 12, 2026, with one weekly flight from each destination.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the new routes will provide Saudi travelers with direct access to Alamein, supporting efforts to promote Egypt as a tourist destination and expand inbound travel.
The flights come amid growing demand for New Alamein, which has emerged as one of the Mediterranean coast's leading tourist destinations in recent years and hosted a number of international events and festivals.
