Egypt: EgyptAir Ground Services Company signed two strategic agreements with Rafal Aviation Handling and AuriJet Aviation Services, during the third and final day of the Egypt International Airshow and Space Exhibition (EIAS 2026).

According to State Information Service Egypt, the signing ceremony was attended by Civil Aviation Minister Sameh El Hefny, who expressed the ministry's commitment to attracting more investment and expanding cooperation with major international companies and agencies in the civil aviation sector. The agreements aim to improve operational efficiency at Egyptian airports, attract more airlines, and boost inbound air traffic and tourism.

The strategic agreements are part of EgyptAir Ground Services' initiative to enhance its commercial and operational footprint by leveraging its vast experience and advanced capabilities. Through the partnership with Rafal Aviation Handling, EgyptAir Ground Services aims to attract international airlines, including scheduled and charter operators as well as private aviation from the Far East, European, and Russian markets.

The collaboration with AuriJet Aviation Services is designed to take advantage of its extensive network across the Middle East, Turkey, Europe, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to bolster air cargo, charter, and private aviation traffic at Egyptian airports. These partnerships intend to provide international operators with a unified professional point of contact for integrated coordination of ground handling, fueling, permits, and other services, thereby maximizing operational efficiency and flexibility.
