Cairo: EgyptAir has announced that it is closely monitoring the ongoing developments in the Middle East, with updates being tracked in real-time by its crisis management team at the integrated operations control center. The airline said in a statement that it is coordinating with relevant authorities to assess the impact on flight operations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, due to current regional tensions, EgyptAir announced that some flights to certain countries in the region might be canceled. The airline urged travelers to stay informed about the status of their bookings and offered several ways to check for updates.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Civil Aviation asserted that, in light of the current regional developments, the repercussions of the US-Iranian strikes, and the possible effects on air traffic in parts of the region, the ministry is closely monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis. In a statement, the ministry said it is coordinating fully with all relevant authorities, both domestically and internationally, to ensure the highest standards of safety and security in civil aviation.

The ministry urged all travelers to review their flight details and to contact their respective airlines directly or officially approved communication channels, to confirm departure and arrival times and stay informed of any updates or changes to flight schedules.
