Cairo: The Ministry of Civil Aviation asserted that, due to recent regional developments and the repercussions of the US-Iranian strikes and the potential impact these developments may have on air traffic in certain parts of the region, the ministry is continuously monitoring the situation.

According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement issued on Saturday 28/2/2026, the ministry said it is coordinating fully with all relevant authorities, both domestically and internationally, to ensure the highest standards of safety and security in civil aviation.

The ministry urged all travelers to review their flight details and contact their airlines directly or through officially approved channels to confirm departure and arrival times, and to stay informed of any updates or changes to flight schedules.
