According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement issued on Thursday, August 13, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates said media organizations should verify information before publishing and obtain information concerning Egyptian affairs from official Egyptian sources.
