Cairo: Egypt opened its campaign at the Seoul 2026 World Boccia Championships with a 5-2 win over Brazil in the men's individual BC3 event. Abdelrahman Ahmed Saad secured the win for Egypt after defeating his Brazilian opponent 5-2, giving the national team its first victory of the tournament. Saad produced a controlled performance throughout the match and gave Egypt a positive start to its World Championship campaign in the South Korean capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Egypt is competing with seven players: Hanaa Allam, Tasneem Gouda, Rahma Tawfik, Rahma Fayed, Mostafa Abu Saada, Samir Mostafa, and Abdelrahman Saad. The team is coached by Mohamed Bayoumi, while Nasr El-Dawy heads the Egyptian delegation. Egypt will continue its campaign in Seoul as its players compete in the remaining events.
