Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned Saturday's drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, describing them as a violation of Bahrain's sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and an unacceptable escalation that undermines regional efforts to ease tensions.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates stated that the attacks come as regional efforts continue to advance de-escalation and stability. It called for avoiding any actions that could fuel tensions or hinder efforts to strengthen regional peace and security.

Egypt renewed its full solidarity with Bahrain and the Gulf states, expressing support for all measures taken to protect their security and stability. It also affirmed its backing for Bahrain in confronting any threat to its security or territorial integrity.
