Cairo: The Cabinet's Media Center said: Egypt continues to strengthen its standing as a destination for major international sporting events, supported by modern sports facilities, advanced infrastructure, and extensive experience in organizing global competitions.According to State Information Service Egypt, in a series of infographics published on its social media platforms, the center said several international sports officials have praised Egypt's ability to host world and continental championships, citing its high organizational standards and well-equipped venues.The infographics included remarks by Nenad Lalovic, Tayyab Ikram, and Morinari Watanabe, who commended Egypt's organization of international sporting events.According to the center, Egypt is set to host more than 90 Olympic sports competitions and over 30 non-Olympic events in 2026, including world, international, African, and Arab championships across multiple sports.
