Belgrade: Egypt's Ambassador in Belgrade, Basel Salah, engaged in discussions with Serbian Minister of Information and Telecommunications, Boris Bratina, to further the ongoing cooperation between Egypt and Serbia in the field of communications and information technology.
According to State Information Service Egypt, this dialogue is part of the broader efforts following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Egypt's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Serbia's Ministry of Information and Telecommunications. This MoU was established during the Serbian President's visit to Cairo in July 2024, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties.
The recent meeting is a continuation of the efforts initiated during Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat's visit to Serbia in November 2024. This visit was instrumental in gaining insights into Serbia's advancements in modern technology, which are pivotal for enhancing cooperation in this sector.
