Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty convened a quadrilateral meeting with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, and Senior Advisor to the US President for Arab and African Affairs Massad Boulos to deliberate on pressing regional crises of shared concern.According to State Information Service Egypt, the gathering involved a comprehensive exchange of perspectives on regional matters, notably the Iranian file in light of the recent US-Iran memorandum of understanding. Participants emphasized the significance of leveraging this development to alleviate tensions and bolster regional stability.Discussions also focused on the situation in Libya, underscoring the necessity of backing initiatives aimed at maintaining Libya's unity, upholding its sovereignty, advancing the political process, and consolidating state institutions.Additionally, the spokesperson indicated t hat the meeting covered the latest developments concerning the Palestinian issue, particularly in the Gaza Strip, as well as the situation in Africa. The dialogue explored avenues for enhancing collaborative efforts to support security across the continent.
