Cairo: The Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) has announced the arrival of the 67th batch of wounded, injured, and sick Palestinians at the Rafah border crossing. These individuals are entering Egypt to receive medical treatment as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the ERC has also coordinated the departure of recovered patients who are returning home after completing their treatment. This effort is conducted in cooperation with the Ministries of Health and Population, and Social Solidarity. The ERC has reaffirmed its commitment to support Palestinian beneficiaries at every stage of the crossing process.

Dedicated teams from the ERC are stationed at the humanitarian service centers in the arrivals and departures halls of the Rafah land crossing. They provide continuous assistance, ensuring that support is available from the moment of arrival until departure. The services offered include a comprehensive package of humanitarian assistance. This package includes psychosocial support, family reunification services, meal and beverage distribution, and the provision of clothing and personal hygiene supplies, which help meet the essential needs of patients, the wounded, and their companions.

Since the outbreak of the crisis, the ERC has maintained a continuous presence at the Rafah border crossing. The organization operates around the clock under a heightened state of readiness to deliver humanitarian relief and assistance to Palestinians. This effort supports Egypt's initiatives to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians and help them cope with the ongoing humanitarian situation.
