Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey Condemn Israeli Attacks in Gaza, Urge Compliance with Ceasefire

Cairo: Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, acting as mediators, have jointly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip that have led to civilian casualties, including women and children. They expressed significant concern over these ongoing violations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the mediators released a joint statement criticizing the escalation of Israeli attacks, which they argue undermines both regional and international efforts aimed at resolving the conflict in Gaza. These efforts include a comprehensive plan to end the conflict, featuring discussions between the Board of Peace and Israeli officials, with steps being taken toward constructive progress in negotiations.

The mediating countries emphasized the necessity for Israel to adhere to its obligations under the ceasefire agreement. They urged Israel to refrain from any actions that might jeopardize the ceasefire or escalate tensions further.

Considering the severe impact of Israel's continued aggression, the mediators reiterated their call for the international community and the Board of Peace, led by US President Donald Trump, to take decisive actions. They urged compliance with the ceasefire as outlined in United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, emphasizing the need for effective pressure to prevent further escalation.
