Cairo: Egypt on Sunday, August 9, 2026, mourned Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Diab al-Louh, who died in Cairo earlier in the day. His long diplomatic and national career was devoted to serving the Palestinian cause and defending the legitimate rights of his people.

According to State Information Service Egypt, in a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates, Egypt offered its sincere condolences to the Palestinian leadership, government and people, as well as to the late ambassador's family and relatives.
