Egypt Hosts Second Ministerial Conference of Russia-Africa Partnership Forum in Cairo

Cairo: Egypt will host the second Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum on December 19 and 20, 2025, in Cairo. The conference will be attended by representatives from more than 50 African countries, with broad participation at the ministerial level, as well as several heads of regional organizations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the event seeks to build on the momentum established during the first Ministerial Conference held in Sochi, Russia, in November 2024. The second edition will focus on economic, trade, and investment cooperation, as well as supporting stability, peace, security, and development.

The conference is scheduled to address ways to develop joint cooperation in the areas of trade, investment, energy, and infrastructure. It will also discuss issues of common interest related to security and stability in Africa, contributing to peace and development efforts and strengthening a sustainable Russia-Africa partnership that serves mutual interests.

Two side events will be held on the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference: one on "The Role of the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development in Enhancing Cooperation with African Countries" and the other on "Trilateral Cooperation and Ways to Achieve Comprehensive Development."
