Egypt: Egypt strongly condemned on Thursday, July 9, 2026, the Iranian attacks that violated the airspace of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, describing them as a breach of Jordan's sovereignty and a dangerous escalation threatening regional security and stability while endangering civilians.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates issued a statement categorically rejecting any actions that infringe upon the sovereignty of Arab states or undermine their security and stability.

The statement emphasized the necessity to respect international law and the principles of good neighborliness, urging the cessation of practices that could exacerbate conflicts in the region.
