Cairo: Egypt strongly condemned attacks targeting neighboring Jordan, describing them as a violation of the kingdom's sovereignty and a dangerous escalation that threatens its security and stability and exacerbates tension across the region. In a statement on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Jordan and its complete support for all measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Egypt also renewed its categorical rejection of any attacks that infringe on the sovereignty of states or threaten their security. The statement called for an immediate halt to all escalatory actions to help preserve regional security and stability.
