Nouakchott: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty expressed Egypt's commitment to providing comprehensive support to Mauritanian students enrolled in Egyptian universities and institutes. This announcement was made during a meeting with Mauritania's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Yacoub Ould Moine, held in Nouakchott.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty highlighted that Egypt has increased the number of annual scholarships available to Mauritanian students from 97 to 202, covering various fields of study. This initiative underlines the emphasis on strengthening educational ties and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
Abdelatty further emphasized the significance of cultural collaboration between Egypt and Mauritania, expressing his intention to enhance the role of the Egyptian Cultural Center in Nouakchott. The aim is to promote intellectual and cultural activities, thereby reinforcing the bonds between the sisterly Arab nations.
