Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Badr Abdelatty on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, signed a number of cooperation agreements with his Beninese counterpart Olushegun Adjadi Bakari. The agreements were signed after discussions held at the Foreign Ministry’s premises in the New Administrative Capital.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the agreements included a visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders and a memorandum of understanding on the training of diplomats. These pacts are expected to enhance bilateral relations between Egypt and Benin.
