Moscow: Egypt's ambassador to Russia met with Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Roman Chikoshov to discuss economic cooperation between the two nations. The talks focused on enhancing trade and investment ties, aiming to advance bilateral relations in line with mutual interests.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting underscored the importance of ongoing coordination and consultation to boost trade volume and encourage mutual investment. This dialogue is part of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Egypt and Russia, which has been steadily developing. A key topic of discussion was the Russian Industrial Zone project in the Suez Canal Economic Zone.
