Cairo: Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif engaged in discussions with Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Iwai Fumio to explore ways of enhancing cooperation in the education sector. The meeting focused on expanding joint initiatives and highlighted the successful model of the Egyptian-Japanese schools.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel Latif emphasized the ministry's strategy to incorporate Japanese educational expertise, particularly the Tokkatsu activities, which aim to develop students' social skills, teamwork, and personal responsibility. He noted Japan's significant role in this partnership due to its advanced educational practices, which align with Egypt's priorities and future aspirations.

Both parties examined opportunities to improve teacher training programs, promote the exchange of educational practices, and implement innovative student activities designed to align with labor market needs and national development goals. Ambassador Fumio reiterated Japan's commitment to supporting Egypt's educational progress and the ongoing collaboration between the two nations.

Senior officials from the Egyptian Ministry of Education and the Japanese embassy in Cairo were present at the meeting, underscoring the importance of this bilateral partnership.
