Cairo:Talks were held between Egypt's Education and Technical Education Minister, Mohamed Abdel Latif, and senior Japanese officials to explore expanding the educational partnership between Egypt and Japan. The discussions aimed to identify new areas for cooperation in the near future.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting included key figures such as Takao Imafuku, Director-General of the International Cooperation Bureau at Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Fumio Iwai, and Yu Ebizawa, Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Office in Egypt, along with their delegation.

The discussions reviewed the progress of existing cooperation efforts in education, focusing on the expansion of joint programs and projects. Abdel Latif emphasized the strategic importance of Japan as a partner in the educational sector, highlighting the valuable outcomes of the partnership which align with the leadership visions of both countries.

The minister noted that the partnership aims to adapt high-quality educational practices to suit Egypt's specific educational needs. Imafuku praised the enduring friendship between the two nations, noting that bilateral ties continue to strengthen and develop.
