Cairo: Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El Khatib and German Minister of Economy and Energy Katherina Reiche have pledged their support for the creation of a German industrial zone within the Suez Canal Economic Zone. This commitment was made during their meeting on the sidelines of the Arab-German Economic Forum.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the ministers discussed strategies to bolster economic relations between Egypt and Germany. They focused on ongoing economic reforms and potential investment opportunities in Egypt, aiming to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Additionally, both parties agreed to collaborate on organizing the upcoming seventh session of the joint committee between Egypt and Germany, scheduled for later this year. This session is expected to further solidify economic partnerships and explore new avenues for cooperation.
