Cairo: Minister of Defense and Military Production General Ashraf Salem Zahr and Armed Forces Chief of Staff General Ahmed Khalifa met with France's Chief of the Defense Staff General Fabien Mandon in Cairo to discuss military cooperation and regional security.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the talks focused on strengthening bilateral military ties and expanding cooperation across several areas of mutual interest. The two sides reaffirmed the depth of the strategic partnership between the Egyptian and French armed forces and their shared commitment to supporting regional security and stability.
