Prague: Egypt's Commander of the Air Force, Mahmoud Fouad Abdel Gawad, engaged in a series of meetings with officials from the Czech armed forces during his official visit to the Czech Republic to explore ways to enhance military cooperation.
According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel Gawad met with Petr Cepelka, the Commander of the Czech Air Force, and Franti€š¬¦¡ek €š¬¦ ulc, the First Deputy of the Czech Defense Minister. These discussions focused on the robust Egyptian-Czech relations and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and expertise exchange between the air forces of both nations in the near future.
Furthermore, Abdel Gawad held talks with Jir Koz¡k, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, to discuss enhancing strategic partnerships between the air forces of Egypt and the Czech Republic. The discussions also included exploring new avenues for cooperation in the aviation industry that would benefit both countries.
During his visit, Abdel Gawad toured the facilities of Aero Vodochody, a prominent Czech aircraft manufacturer. At the conclusion of his visit, Abdel Gawad noted that both sides are aligned on several issues of mutual interest.
